Guidelines for Visitors and Users

1. Admission and Access Policy

Admission to Gaulish Antiquities Hub is granted subject to availability and compliance with our policies. We reserve the right to refuse admission or remove any visitor who violates our policies, behaves inappropriately, or poses a safety risk. Admission tickets are non-transferable and valid only for the date and service specified. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

2. Photography and Recording Policy

Personal photography without flash is permitted in most areas for non-commercial use. Video recording is permitted for personal use only. Commercial photography, filming, or recording requires advance written permission and a permit. We prohibit photography that disrupts other visitors or staff. Tripods, selfie sticks, and professional equipment require special permission. Some special exhibitions may prohibit all photography, which will be clearly marked.

3. Behavior and Conduct Policy

We expect all visitors to behave respectfully toward other visitors, staff, and our collections. Running, shouting, or disruptive behavior is not permitted. Touching artifacts is prohibited unless specifically indicated as hands-on displays. Children must be supervised at all times. We prohibit harassment, discrimination, or threatening behavior of any kind. Visitors who violate this policy will be asked to leave without refund.

4. Food and Beverage Policy

Food and beverages are not permitted in exhibition galleries to protect artifacts. Sealed water bottles are allowed. Our café and designated eating areas are available for meals and refreshments. We ask that visitors dispose of trash properly and keep eating areas clean. Special dietary accommodations can be discussed in advance for educational programs.

5. Lost and Found Policy

We maintain a lost and found at our reception desk. Items are held for 30 days before being donated or disposed of. We make reasonable efforts to contact owners of items with identifying information. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Valuable items should be kept with you at all times or stored in our lockers.

6. Accessibility Policy

We are committed to providing equal access to all visitors. Our facility is wheelchair accessible with ramps, elevators, and accessible restrooms. We provide wheelchairs for loan (first-come, first-served), assistive listening devices, and large-print materials. Service animals are welcome. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements.

7. Group Visit Policy

Groups of 10 or more must book in advance. Group leaders are responsible for the behavior of all group members. We limit group sizes to ensure quality experiences and safety. Groups must arrive at their scheduled time or risk losing their reservation. Group discounts apply only to pre-booked groups. School groups must have adequate adult supervision (minimum 1 adult per 10 students).

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before scheduled time receive full refunds. Cancellations made 24-48 hours in advance receive 50% refunds. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are non-refundable. No-shows are non-refundable. We may cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment, weather, or emergencies, in which case full refunds are provided. We reserve the right to reschedule programs with advance notice.

9. Research Access Policy

Research access to our library, archives, and collections is available to qualified researchers by appointment. Researchers must complete an application including credentials and research proposal. We reserve the right to deny access to protect our collections or for other legitimate reasons. Researchers must handle materials according to our guidelines and under staff supervision. Reproduction of materials is subject to copyright restrictions and fees.

10. Gift Shop and Sales Policy

All sales are final unless items are defective. We do not accept returns of books, educational materials, or personalized items. Defective items may be exchanged within 14 days with receipt. We are not responsible for items damaged after purchase. Prices are subject to change without notice.
